Gals Who Gammon is a women-first backgammon community designed to bring women together through play, connection, and shared experiences.

What started as a simple gathering of friends has grown into a vibrant community where women of all backgrounds come together around the board. Some arrive having never played before. Others come with years of experience. All belong here.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Built from a love
of the game
Remington grew up playing backgammon since she was a kid — gathering her group of girlfriends every weekend around the board. Her love for the game was always centered around time spent with her best friends.
In 2023, she founded the NYC Backgammon Club, which quickly grew into one of the largest and fastest-growing backgammon communities in the world. That experience showed her firsthand how powerful backgammon could be as a tool for connection — and how underrepresented women still were in the game.
Gals Who Gammon was born from that realization: a community designed specifically to create welcoming spaces where women can learn, play, and build confidence through backgammon.
